How is Simon different from the other boys? Why is he unable to express his thoughts and why does he seem to know what Jack is thinking? How has he changed and what seems to be his role in the story?

In the book Lord of the Flies there are a lot of boys, but one boy stands out from all of them, that boy is Simon. Simon is different, he is different from all of the other boys because he is much more mature than all the others and he takes things seriously!

He is unable to express his thoughts because he is queer and he wants to fit in with everyone else! He seems to know what Jack is thinking because he can see beyond his expressions!

Simon has changed by being more outgoing and more free with people! His role in the story is being a helpful person and changing to be outgoing.
